Gmail now requires an e-mail verification be clicked when setting up forwarding addresses so forwarding amazon confirmations to the [email protected] no longer opperates with gmail as your tutorial suggests. Is there a way we can get the confirmation e-mail codes sent back to us? I don't know how that could even be tracked.
Yes, our email forwarding service will forward Gmail verification code to your email box automatically.
It would be good if you had twitter integration. I'd like to share with my followers stuff I'm waiting for. Otherwise this is quite an excellent service!
I have a problem with ordering things online. Basically, I spend way too much money.
Thank you very much for your services! Instead of having to visit a half dozen different sites and remember a ton of different tracking numbers.. I only have to visit one site, PLUS you email me updates when I forget to check the site. Thank you for being awesome!
On the Inbox page, you use those colored letter icons individually to show where in the process the package is (I for Information Received, P for At Pickup, etc). These are useful, but only if you know what each letter stands for.
But on the actual tracking page, you use those letter icons in a much more useful way: you show them in context with the previous and subsequent steps. For my UPS package for example, I see I P T O D, but with the D greyed out becuase it hasn't been delivered yet.
At a glance, even if I don't know that O means "out for delivery", I see that it's one step away from the last one. In other words, but showing the whole chain, the graphic functions almost as a progress bar. It's readable at a glance, where the lone letter "O" requires knowledge of the abbreviations you're using.
I would hope you'd consider using the status chain on your Inbox page -- the Inbox view being probably the most-used view and definitely the one that imparts the most information in the smallest amount of space.
Thanks for the good suggestion. We just added upcoming status to Tracking Inbox in gray icons.
First of all I love your service. By far the best package tracking service available. I know it's been mentioned before but I believe it's worth mentioning again. Please develop and release your application for the Android platform. As the market share continues to increase, some say having surpassed iPhone already by holding as much as 28%, there are millions of users (and potential customers) available to you. There are other tracking apps available to us but they just don't measure up. Yours has the potentional to grab the #1 spot. But not if you don't make it available and soon. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Just found your site and love it! One addition would put it over the top for me, a user based ical address. I'd love to add one Packagetrackr calendar to my Google Calendar, and have all of my package info show up on it (all stages of tracking would be great, but estimated delivery of course is critical). I know you can add individual tracked item currently, but that is a pain as you have to go in and add a URL, then later clear it out so the list of calendars doesn't get out of control. Also, one map that shows all of your packages at once would be cool as well. Keep up the good work!
We'll add all-in-one iCal link for Tracking Inbox very soon.
I love your service and use it all the time. I like that you added the capability to fwd shipping confirmations to have the package added automatically. It would be great if you would enable registering multiple email accounts within a packagetrackr account. Suppose i had a yahoo account and a gmail account. If my packagetrackr account was setup with my gmail account, i would not be able to fwd a shipping confirmation email from my yahoo account (but instead would have to fwd it to my gmail account first, and then fwd to you from that account).
I think many people would benefit from this as we all have more than 1 email anyways :)
Thanks,
Hi,
We do support multiple email address in our email forwarding service.
Send an email from your alternative mailbox (in this case your Yahoo account) to track{@}packagetrackr.com, then follow the instruction we replied to you. You will be able to link your alternative email address to your existing Packagetrackr account. After linked you can use your alternative email addresses in all Packagetrackr products including Sign in.
Hi,
I really like your website and it works great. I love the idea of tracking packages from multiple carriers on one website. I have a suggestion for you. You should make and application for android market. I checked your "Product" section and I saw tab for Android, but when I clicked on it nothing happened. Also I tried to find it in Android marketplace, but with no luck. Anyway, good luck in the future.
Jozef
Thanks for your feedback. Our Android Native Application is in development, we'll try to release it ASAP.
You guys are awesome. Seriously!
However, on the iPhone page you have an Android tab. And you click and it goes nowhere. Then, I looked and it's an anchor for nowhere! :o Such a mean, mean trick! I'm assuming the fact you have a tab that the application is in development. If you plan on having a public or closed beta testing, I'd be very interested in testing it out for you.
My business is beginning to utilize Packagetrackr and we're loving it. Keep it up, guys!
Love your server, thanks, its great.
