I am incredibly impressed with packagetrackr. Yes, at first, I was a bit skeptical and cautious about a site as the internet is littered with legit looking sites. But I took a chance with packagetrackr. Not only did PTr have information that the offical carrier tracking service did not display, PTr had the search options clearly visible (UPS mail innovations has tracking information hidden within layers of the site and not often updated). I will recommend your service to everyone who has packages in transit. Great work!
I found this site through a website i had ordered something from linking to it. This is an awesome service. What amazed me is how (imtalking about usps rite now) your tracking provided even more info than the regular usps site. and in a simple good -looking way.
Great job thanks!!
Great job!!!, very smooth, very cool, very useful, thank you
Love it!
You are the only website that I understand without using a help section or something similar. Thanks guys for this service.
i got 3 tracking # from fedex smartpost, and they aren't working off of package trackr...but they work on official tracking page
Hi Philip,
I'd guess what's happening is that they aren't being recognized by the AUTO carrier detection. SmartPost is problematic that way, because the format is the same as USPS, UPS Mail Innovations, and DHL Global Mail. My hunch is that if you select FedEx SmartPost from the carrier list and input them, they will work.
Thanks!
Awesome
I love your service!
Would it be possible to allow tracking numbers to be saved even before the shipper's site has any information about the shipment? When I get a "your item has shipped" email, it would be nice to be able to paste the tracking number into PackageTrackr right then. Usually however, this results in the "Sorry, we weren't able to get information" message, until a few hours later when the shipment is available on the shipper's website.
Hi Mike!
Glad you're here! To add a tracking number that is not yet showing up in a carrier's listing, you must be logged into your Packagetrackr account. Simply click the Add Package tab, enter the information, and press Save. The listing will update as soon as the carrier starts providing location data.
Thanks!
Hi. I've been extremely pleased with my packagetrackr experience so far. As a feature request, I'd like to have a single, aggregate RSS feed for all of my inbox packages. I use the RSS feeds for the individual packages, but need to add each one individually to my news reader. Has this feature been considered and excluded due to security/privacy concerns? Perhaps this could use a secret token methodology like I've seen on other websites. Thanks. -John
Hi John,
It's great to have you here! We do have a master RSS feed for each account in our development plan. As soon as we get it going, we'll post about it on our blog.
Thanks!
Wow! What an interesting site! Thanks!
